hot air from aircon vents
 

Hi guys, i was wondering if it's normal for the rx7 to be blowing out moderately warm air from the aircon vents when the aircon is turned off.
My water temp guage wont arrive for a few weeks yet, so im wondering if this is a sign of the car over heating or is it completely normal.

It's completely normal. Mazda designed the AC/Heater system so that heat won't come out of the face vents, preventing the driver from getting sleepy. If you turn it to the footwell or defrost position, you should get hot air then.

but it is blowing out warm/hot air from the face vents, with AC off and fan at level 1 alot of heat seems to be coming out from the face vents

Oh, I see what you're saying now. I don't think so, but somebody more knowledgeable about the coolant system's going to have to step in, cause I have no idea.
