horn problem

hi guys

I got a weird horn problem I hope someone can help.

horn is working fine except once in a while it (automatically, randomly) it turns on and stay on until I press horn button on the steering wheel a few times.

I suspect it has something to do with the relay box but not sure which one.

please help, if you have any idea what's going on.

thx

Sounds like a loose wire grounding out. Horns are simple, when you press your horn it grounds the circuit to complete it making it turn on. If you're accidentally grounding out, this will cause the horn to randomly come on.

Thanks for the tip. I recently touched the relay box, maybe I should start to look somewhere there.

thanks man. I got it replaced and probably fixed the issue. due to over size IC, the relay box was hidden inside the front bumper, of course I couldn't see the label easily.

I'm thinking to relocate the the relay box somewhere else. hmm but I have to cut the wires and extend them:

have anyone done this, beside crispyrx7 ? :-)
