hKpa to PSI conversion help needed
before i took my motor in for a rebuild..my blitz dual tt was giving me readings between 78hKpa to 83(spikes)
and now that i got my car back i am only reading from 72 to 75hKpa MAX.... anyone knows the conversion chart or tell me if i am running the correct psi? |
1 kPA = 0.1450377 PSI
therefore... 72 kPA = 10.4 PSI 83 kPA = 12.0 PSI Try this unit converter... it is free and has most types of units. http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/ |
I think you have you "points" (decimals) in the wrong spots
1.0 Bar = 14.7 psi .72 bar = 10.5 .83 bar = 12.2 1 bar is more then .72 so your conversion should say "1 Kg/Cm2 = 14.50377 PSI" not "0.1450377" To get your conversion just times the Kg/Cm2 (bar) by 14.7psi (at least that what i have always been told). thats why my numbers are a lil different then yours. Acctually maybe im doing something wrong here compared to what you need as im using Kg/Cm2 instead of Kpa or are they the same? |
thanks... that means before i did my rebuild..i was boostin MORE than stock and now its back to stock?
weird... |
