Historic and Important event for all FD RX7's

Greenwich Concours d' Elegance has invited me to display my 1993 RX7 TOURING.

www.greenwichconcours.com

June 2-3, 2007.

This show will display the creme de la creme of automobiles... Big time collectors such as David Letterman, Jay Leno, Tommy Hillfigger, and Ralph Lauren autos will also be in attendance, among many other famous and world renowned collectors...

This is deffinitely a bench mark in rotary history... Finally big time collectors are looking to the far east... Hopefully now we will get some recognition from the classic car community.

World renowned Christie's Auction house will be auctioning off vehicles on the premises...

Congrats on the honor. Be sure to post pics!

RCCAZ 1 04-30-07 06:12 PM

Wow, congrats. Looks like the collector car community is finally starting to recognize the importance and uniqueness of rotary vehicles. Hemmings recently ran a story about a guy in South Florida who restores R100s, RX-2s and RX-3 SPs. I think that Jay Leno picking up the Cosmo has caused collectors to start taking notice. Only time will tell.

Again, congrats, and PLEASE post pics.

That is fantastic news. Congratulations on the honor. You must post pics.

CMonakar 04-30-07 06:38 PM

jojodotcom 04-30-07 07:41 PM

Jay Leno is great. Of all the car he can buy in the world, he actually owns a RX-8~! Maybe he just ran out of supercars/classic cars to collect? But i think the real reason is he appreciates any kind of cars~

Please post more pictures when you have them~

Congratulations on being selected, and the reason is obvious~

PhDMDRX7 04-30-07 07:46 PM

This should be good for us fd owners, but really boa for those who want to buy.
I'm looking for my third fd (my son has one, I have one and we want another). We can't afford another one now and after this will be totally out classed. Good for you!!!

HKNY 04-30-07 07:46 PM

wptrx7 05-01-07 07:24 AM

Your car looks great and this is good news, but ren't you supposed to have a stock car?

joe1573 05-01-07 07:42 AM

I've always want to just attend that show, but to be part of it. You are a very lucky guy, good luck.

Jay Leno actually owns a Cosmo. He writes a column for Popular Mechanics. One column featured his Cosmo and the rotary engine.

yuichiror 05-01-07 08:52 AM

Congrats dude! Sounds like an awesome chance to put FD's in the spotlight for collectors.

The car is completely stock right down to stock airfilter.... The only exception are the wheels...

I will bring a stock wheel along so people can compare them...

Dwayne
