Guys.... the biggest problem for spr258 right now is ambient temps in Vegas (where he's located). The last week has been between 110F and 115F with little or no humidity.

its been about the same down here in south texas. right now we're trying to put together a base map with a newly installed haltech ECU and im seeing water temps going up to 218 fahrenheit. it also doesnt help that the car didnt have the stock fans either. it has these crappy hayden fans that arent doing much. we've got stronger fans coming in on wednesday so that should alleviate the problem as everything else is working. but still, this hot weather is just absolutely brutal on rotary engines and it doesnt even cool down until after 9pm!

edit: new fans have 1105 CFM rating, hope thats good or else im gonna start crawling to our savior ray crowe @ malloy mazda lol

i installed a 180* t-stat today and temps are way more stable. it was blazing hot today and i was running the car hard and temps were at 98-99 stable with a/c on, a/c off ran 92-94.

i'm going to do some ducting in the next few days along with a undertray and i'll be upgrading to a vented hood soon.. and that should help the car run 88-90's.

Those idiots who took out your t-stat should have their knees capped. IF you want extra flow, drill holes around the perimeter of the t-stat. Better yet, run Evans NPG+.
