Hi-Tech Auto. in Woodbridge Va.

Matt Stimart is no longer doing the work on the Rx-7s at Hi-Tech auto. He was and still is a very experienced and competent tech when it comes to working on 3rd gen Rx-7s. As a result I must now withdraw my recommendation of going to Hi-Tech to have work done on 3rd gens. This means there really isn't anyplace in the Md./Va. area that does good work on 3rd gens. However there is hope as John Duff has been saying he will be opening a shop in the near future, perhaps as early as March. There is also a very strong "support group" that frequents the mscw meetings. I encourage all owners in the area to attend the monthly meetings and get to know us.

Well I didnt know this. My friend Ryan aka... dont-be-a- rikki. Had Matt do his clutch/flywheel install. about six months ago and raved on this guy Matt's work. But since then Ryan and I have doin doing all our own work.Including engine swaps and turbo replacements. We have had lots of success thus far. John Duff opening a shop ? havent heard that yet.
We told him a while ago we would do some work for people if they needed it.This can range from anything to polishing manifolds to vacum hose jobs and other easy crap like that. anyway Looking forward to meeting all you guys that I havent gotten to yet ( I dont attend the mettings).See tou at the fall MADS.. :chef:
