HELP!! quick question on timing!!
 

Hey I am TOTALLY ignorant about how to time the motor a friend of mine is putting in my FD....

Could someone give me the breif idiots guide to timing the motor thats getting put in my car plz?!!?!!??!

I believe it's described in the factory service manual, which can be downloaded in PDF form on these forums somewhere. In a nutshell, there isn't any distributor to reclock, no timing belt to align properly, I don't think the sensor is notched to allow any adjustment either. The FSM basically gives instructions how to verify that the ECU is firing the coils at the right time, that's about it.
