Help please guys, gloop on the oil filler cap.

Ok, ill explain the whole situation:

back in October i took my 94 FD3S of the road for the winter.
Iv just got the car back on the road last weekend. In the break iv done a few mods, iv changed the Intercooler hoses, Radiator hoses, Headlights, Spoiler and a couple other small details.

I changed the coolant when changing the radiator hoses, putting in a mix of 60% water 40% antifreez.

Ofter doing about 50 miles in a week, i was just checking various fluid levels over and noticed the tell tail sign of Mayonase looking gloop on the oil filler cap,

i then checked the coolant level by removing the coolant filler cap (the one next to the altinator not the one next to the intercooler) and i noticed that it had gone down by about an egg cupfull.

There is no mayo like gloop on the dipstick, and the car doesnt smoke.
When i started the car this morning it did turn over a ciouple of seconds londer than normal before actuallly starting.

When running it doesnt get hotter than normal, running between 85-94'c on my Power FC commander.

The oil and oil filter, plugs were all cahanged about 1200 miles ago.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem ?

Any help would be good, cheers

Some tan slimy goop at the oil filler cap is a normal sign of condensation of moisture created by the combustion process.

Having a small amount of air space at the water filler cap, is, IMO, also totally normal.

Unless you are constantly losing water, or having a lot of steam (much more than the normal start-up exhaust condensation) out the exhaust, I don't think you have a problem.
