help! oil cooler lines leaking...
So i reconnected my two oil cooler lines, i added the c-clips, then started the car... now it leaks like a where they both connect, it drop oil about evrry minute while idling and off... Did i do something wrong, i noticed theyre some copper crush washers on the line coming fron the oil cooler, should i replace those and get new c-clips??? where would i buy those, and how do i fix it??? any help appreciated...

I had this problem and it turned out the connections simply were just not fully seated. I took them apart and "seated" them as firmly (read hard) as I could. Next check they were fine. They're just old and stubborn, but like most other things on the car, they will eventually yield.

what do you mean "SEATED" like pushed real hard...
|
Check to make sure the o-rings on each of the lines aren't torn or gashed. Then make sure the lines are fully seated before clipping them in, as was mentioned before.
The o-rings handle the sealing duties for the stock oil cooler lines, not any washer (actually, I don't remember any "copper crush washer" on my oil cooler lines, but I could be mistaken...) |

is there o rings inside where the oil coolers connect??? cause if there is i dont have any...
|
They seal with O-rings. Yes, just push as hard as you can. Mine were in such an awkward position I just couldn't get a lot of force on them But I got them seated!

Those C-clips, if not replaced properly, are good way to lose all your oil on the ground. There's a small ridge on the lines that the clips hold on to. If there not in the ridge, it will leak a ton.

i drove the car around the block... and i pushed as hard i could and put the c-clips on... it still is seeping through... could it be the hoses... i reused the same clips... is there o rings that go inside the actual line...
