Help!! my key broke off in ignition!!
 

My key broke off in my ignition. I can start my car with a by messing with the wires but I cannot turn the ignition so my steering wheel is locked. Anyone know how I can unlock my steering wheel so I can bring it to the lock smith to see if he can phish it out or w/e?

If the whole key broke of in there you should be able to turn it with a small screw driver or what left of your key. If only part of it broke off in there you should be able to put whats left of the key in there and turn it. Have you tried this ? ? ? Then you could rive down to the lock smiths and see what can be done.

It'll be alot cheaper if you take the cylinder out and take it to the locksmith. I assume none of the key is still poking out, so even if you get it to the locksmith, he/she would have to take the cylinder out anyways.

If your key is steel, maybe you can turn it to the "open" position, and remove it with a magnet.

In the past I've successfully fished out a broken key using a thin pair of tweezers like the kind that come with a swiss army knife.

yupp, my buddy had that happen with his accord
just take out the entire cylinder or whatever its called and take it to the locksmith
or even better, call a mobile locksmith, they get those things out in like 5 mins.

get one of those super strong magnets and try to pull it out
