Help me find the Squeak!

Ok... try and guess why the hell my car squeaks...

Suspension wise i have JIC FLT-A2s
Exhaust JIC SS 3"

Now I can only hear the car squeak at low speeds.. It doesn't seem to matter if i'm traveling over bumps or anything.. its just kinda constant.. usually when i'm slowing down. I can go over speed bumps.. this does not make it any different when it comes to squeaking.

My hypotheses are:

1.My exhaust hangers are squeaking (easy fix)
2.My lower pillow balls need to be replaced
3.The diff bushings are bad (probable since i get some clunking when shifting and braking)
4.My car is a mouse.

You probably won't like the answer but, YOU'LL FIND IT SOME WHERE BETWEEN THE FRONT BUMPER AND THE REAR BUMPER !!! LOL Maybe your radio is a piece of _hit and it won't go up loud enough....how's that for a hypotheses ???? So Pete how ya been ? ? ? ? Have you tried spraying some silicone spray on the things you mentioned (that won't hurt the rubber parts like WD-40 would) Jack

i'll give that a try.. any brand or silicone spray i should buy...?

Mine also squeaks at parking lot speeds every now and then. I also have coilovers. It's pretty hard to find the source since the car has to be moving.

my car squeaks too when i drive; usually right after i warm up my car but i think it's my breaks (they are almost gone or near it), so check your break pads. I also had "crickets" in my car when i drove sometimes but that was the rear hatch fixed it with some electrical tape. Plus for some unknown reason i was missing bolts for the plastic pieces in the rear -_-; so know all i get is road noise and the ocassional moon roof squeaks

Now see what you've started ! ! ! ! I can't think of any particular brand for the silicone spray. But now that you mention it my car rattles and creaks, and some times it squeals, perhaps if I can find and fix those I can find out if it squeaks ! ! ! LOL Louder exhaust and or better stere will fix it ! ! !!

lol, i dont' think my hatch is loose or anything but its worth a try.. i mean i hear it while i'm at parking lot speeds pretty much.. and it sounds like its coming from the back. It just sounds like something squeaking awful... its not squealing or dragging like brakes... its just like "squeak squeak squeaky" lol

You sure Leigh Ann isn't hiding behind your seat and trying to annoy you ? ? ? ? ?

Try spraying the hood hinges. I had a squeak that sounded like it was coming from the rear divers side. My mechanic sprayed my hood hinges and the squeak dissappeared!

^^Amen... I just fixed my squeak/rattle this weekend. Boy, was it annoying as heck. I couldn't figure out where it was from. Turns out, it was my hood latch... I found this out after hours upon hours of figuring out where it came from. I thought it was the exhaust, brakes, suspension, ABS heat sink, pulleys, belts, etc... turns out it was just my latch. Just spray some WD40 on the latch assembly. I did that, but it didn't go away totally, so I ended up applying tape to the latch hook (attached to the hood, not beneath the hood) to make it more snug. Sound went COMPLETELY away. Just a thought... yours could be something totally different.

RX4Speed,

I too have the tape on the hood latch. Works well, but you have to be careful not to add too much tape, otherwise, you can screw up the latch!!

ok i'll definately try both ends of the car.. see what happens.
