Help with koni shocks please

I just purchased a set of new Koni sport shocks and have been searching for any tips on the install. I've found a few helpfull threads but nothing rock solid. It seems the spacer and rubber "donut shaped" peace need to be drilled out? can anyone go into more detail about this and why?

Does anything else need to be modified to fit my old springs to the new shocks?

Also I plan on replacing the top rubber mount peices in the front should I replace the backs also?

I currently have H&R springs and stock touring shocks and the front and back seem pretty level. I know the hight in front needs to be set to the highest perch on the konis. but what are others with this setup running for the rear hight?

Any other tips would be great. thanx

Its pretty straight forward. Check the FAQ thread stickied here in this forum for a how to or check Dale Clark's clubrx.org site for instructions.

The items you mentioned need to have their openings enlarged as the Konis use a thicker shaft.

I also run the H&Rs. I have the front shock set at the highest perch and the rears set at the middle perch for the purpose of even-ride height. Iirc, this put me at ~25.5" front and rear.
