Help identifying connectors behind the dash (if possible)

Hi all,

I've removed my dash as it is getting retrimmed and after doing so, I found so much wiring tucked away that is an absolute mess!

I've highlighted the connections and was hoping someone could either confirm I am correct for those I may know and assist with those I don't? For most of the connections, it does look like a complete hack job which I will start to tidy up. No plug matches the connectors so I do think these were bypassed and just not done correctly.

1. Connector for heater/AC from heater core & heater blower (small harness missing)
2. ??

7. Connector for heater/AC from heater core & heater blower (small harness missing)
8. ?? - Found next to the heater core

Thanks for your help

First off, probably helps to state you have a RHD car.

I've pulled and re-installed a dash with a decent amount of time in between the two events so memory was a little foggy. The good thing is the plugs are all different and they obviously have a place to plug in to.
