Help To Identify Wires. Limp mode.
Issue #1
Hey guys, I need help identifying some wires that were kinda tucked away in the engine bay, I cant find any connecters for them around that area and would like to know what they are if they are important. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00942.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00943.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00944.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00945.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00946.jpg Also found this little bugger barely hanging on http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00947.jpg Is there something supposed to be connected to this airbox? http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00949.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00950.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00951.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00952.jpg #2. Car got shipped to me. Took car to Autozone 2 miles away to get new battery. Battery was installed backwards. Fried 120 main. Fried Sunroof Fuse. Replaced 120 main. Replaced Sunroof Fuse. Installed battery correctly. Car is in limp mode. Does not want to go over 4k. I bought a new TPS and had a new bracket and had it installed and idles good now but still 4k rev limiter. Anyone know the first things to blow when battery is put in backwards? Thanks in advance for the help guys. Although good does come from everything, I have been stimulating the local economy with daily visits to the liquer store because of this issue. |
if pic 1-2 are off the same 4wire connector then this is for the cruise control.
the plug hanging under car is for the oil level sensor the fitting that is not connected it looks like it was for a aftermarket gauge, maybe boost gauge. |
Yeah 1 and 2 are the same.
The one under the car is for the oil level sensor that is connected to the dash? Ill have to refit it and ziptie it to a better position, |
