help with this engine issue
i recently just got done with manual swapping my car. the engine has 10 miles on it, its half bridge, 550 cc primary 2200 secondary fuel. i have been able to drive the car after the swap is done and ive had a couple of issues with idling but i didnt think it was a very big deal. I had turned it on today and seemed to have turned on perfectly fine then it just went to low idle and had shut off. I tried turning it on again and it cranks and im not a mechanic or anything but it almost seems like it tries to run on one rotor. it wont turn on but if i press the accelerator consistently really fast it will turn over and run but it sounds kind of crappy. The car is running rich i know that much just because it has no tune due to the new engine. i had already tried replacing spark plugs, un flooding the motor, and im out of ideas. please help thanks.

check the hose on the boost sensor, it might have come loose somehow

Try checking your primary,and secondary injector wiring codes and the placement,one secondary may be on a primary,and that primary on a secondary, or the injector wire might be on the wrong rotor I have caught 2 like that before and just recently had it show up again, I know I have done it myself ( drove me nuts trying to figure it out too) ps 1st clue rich running, runs rough at idle clears up at 3500, poor starts, stumbles missfires at Idle

how would you know this ? by colour of injectors an plus wire colours ?

all stock wiring is coded for each injector they all run a live power wire to all injectors,which is a common black with white or yellow , then the computer grounds the injectors to turn them on the color codes are as follows Front primary ( light green red stripe) Rear Primary ( Light green black stripe)Front secondary(light green white stripe) rear secondary( lite green)also theMazda injector colour only indicates size

Then what did you set your injector settings to for the 2200cc injectors?

While your at it check the compression, and spark , just to eliminate them from a possible cause of missfire on the rotor

the power fc is set to 2200 cc or i must have a different power fc but i doubt it.

did someone with a datalogit help tune your car? If so that would explain how that was set properly.

yea somebody set it up for those injectors with the datalogit.
