HELP! ECU connectors
I removed my PFC about a year ago during my rebuild and now that I'm in the process of reinstalling it, I can't remember which way the blue and black connectors go. One of the 2 black connectors goes to the little black box attached to the back of the PFC (fan control) and the 4 blue connectors need to match up correctly. I've searched high and low for pics, diagrams or something I can use to identify which goes to what. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

Check FSM section "F". They have pin layout. Basically, all 4 connectors have different number of pins. Bigger ones goes to the sides, smaller ones go inside.

Not the 4 yellow connectors. They are sized so they will only fit in the specific slot. I'm speaking of the 'extra connectors' that don't plug into the ECU. |
sorry lost on this one. if you need to look at mine let me know..

The fan recall harness goes to the black box and plugs in between the other two blue plugs.
Originally, the ECU harness has a blue plug that connects to a blue plug in the dash harness. The fan recall module has 2 connectors that plug in-between the original connectors, kind of like a turbo timer harness. With good fan control, the fan recall stuff is useless, IMHO. Get the FC fan thermoswitch and set the PowerFC to kick the fans on at 85, and you should have 80-90 deg. C water temps all the time. With that, the fan recall is pointless - it's designed for stock cars running well over 100+ degrees all the time, and letting it cool down for 10 minutes after running. If the temps are reasonable to start with, it's quite unecessary. I have the HKS fan controller and have removed all the fan recall crap. BTW, good to meet you in Birmingham! Dale |

Dale how do you program the PFC to turn on the fan at 85-C ? I hope I don't need a DataLogit . . . :-) neil |
