Help!!! cluster lights and tail lights won't turn on

Hi guys, just to make everything short. I've changed to a new dashboard, installed gauges, and put in new (used engine harness). After putting everything back together now my cluster lights won't come on as well as my tail lights. I've check all the fuses, the BTN is good from what i can see, also all the plugs by the driver side foot rest.
Now someone did mention about the turning signal short circuit so that's why it is not working. Well i think mine is too but just don't know how to fix it. When turning my signal the right one flashes fine, but the left one flashes like crazy like its telling me that one of my bulb is out. But i have changed both bulb and it still does the same thing.
So is this turning signal thing relate to the cluster and tail light not working???

Also at the steering wheel column there is this one plug that i could not figure out where it belong would this be it too??? pic below

Check the TNS relay located in the relay box in front of the engine bay.

ok i'll check on that, also forgot to mention the left signal bulb light doesn't even come on at all, all i get is a fast clicking saying that the bulb is bad but it is a brand new bulb.

check the TNS relay, don't know if it still good or not just a little rusty. Try to get a new one at the local advanced auto but they don't have one. Now i also forgot to mention couple days ago i had my front bumper off and it rain over night. when i got back to the car the whole fuse box where the TNS relay goes was wet and was dripping with water. I let it dry up and would this cause it???

Are you joking? Of course that could cause it  You may need to buy a new relay from Mazda direct. You could try swapping the retra relay and the TNS ( I think they're the same). Once the relays dry, they may be fine. Have you fixed it yet?

i have not been able to get a new relay yet, dont know if the spare would work but yeah i'm trying to get new ones from Ray Malloy hopefully thats the problem. But why would my signal gone bad though??? weird

Ok finally got something figured out and something else went wrong.
Changed the TNS relay with the spare and the tail light, glove box and everything else works except for the cluster lights.
After i turn the key over for like 5sec i smell something electrical burning while trying to figure out why the cluster lights are still not lighting up. So i turn the key to off, check everything over and noticed the burning smell was coming from the dimmer switch. So i double check again, turn the key to on again and this time after 5sec i can actually see the smoke coming from the switch and it melted the plug to the point where two wires fell out of the plug. What could have cause this, did i miss a ground somewhere or hooking up the wrong wire or what???

Has anyone encounter this type of thing???

A friend had the exact thing happen to him. He put in an aftermarket stereo and inadvertently grounded the red/black illumination wire in an effort to get his antenna to work. He went through two dimmer switches until he pointed out what he had done and we were able to undo it. Dimmer switches are pricey, but can be bypassed. Check for continuity between the red/black wire and ground. I'll bet it's grounded somewhere.

Well got it figured out, it was this https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...umination+wire that got me screw up don't know why it works for them but not me. Once disconnect it work fine. And as for the turning signal it was a back bulb holder. Thanks everyone for helping.
