HELP, another boost problem thread!!

After doing a complete non-seq. conversion(about 2-3months ago), I was running few times about 14 psi just for test and put it down to 12 psi with my HD boost controler, it was boosting just fine.
One of the days driving I floored it and I was boosting only about 5-6 psi, I was like WTF, went home and checked every vacuum hose possible, took of the UIM and inspected everything but I couln't find anything wrong, I also checked the couplers, crossover tube and interccoler for cracks, they seem to be ok.
BTW I tryed to crank up the boost on the BC till is fully closed and no change at all.

What the heck could it be????
Any help very appreciated.
John.

Anyone???

the vaccuum system with sequential is pretty basic, im going to trust that you know how to troubleshoot it and go ahead and say you have a leak in your system... I would take the parts off and check them under water for cracks.

well I own this car for about 8 years now and all the work I do myself, haven't had any problems with it yet, so you can say I know few things but I'm always up for learning new things.

I'm gonna take your advice and try to find any leaks, and see what's going on.

Funny thing is that when I was running seq. never had a problem and now, even without any of the emission sh*t on is giving me probs.

did you check the tca, wastegate and other stuff? pertainnig to the turbo stuff. also check for boost leaks like XSTransAm said. use starter fluid and spray around stuff to see if the idle goes up. watch out for flames though and have a fire extinguisher ready

goodluck

TCA is gonne, I'm running non-seq., wastegate could be stuck, I didn't check that yet.
I'm not familiar with using starter fluid and why, fill me in on that area!

I thought about the starter fluid tech. a little deeper, is it that when engine is idling/pullin vaccum, and when you spray on brocken vacuum hose or intake pipe the fluid goes in the combustion chamber directly causing idle to go up???
