Help

So, i was working on the rx7 this weekend and everything was working fine. Have Greddy Titanium Catback, SS 3" Downpipe and Trust Airinx intake. I decided to start installing my boost, egt and a/f gauges and paint the stock intercooler pipes black. So i get everything back together the car off the ramps and start it up. The car smokes too the point i thought the fire deparment was going to come, the engine shakes way more than usual, and when i rev it a lil the throttle sticks for a while before the rpms drop down to idle. The only things i did that changed the car from its running fine condition is: drilling a hole in the dp for the thermocoupler for the egt gauge, take off the intercooler pipes and then i put new plugs in since it was on ramps (however i did the plugs after seeing it smoke so much the first time just to try something). Anyone got ideas, or am i screwed?

Check the vac line to the boost sensor.

stock ic pipes are black plastic... you must have aftermarket pipes and/or aftermarket ic.

Reconnecting that should clear up most/all of the smoke and engine shakes.

The pipes on my are the still stock shape with the real skinny one on the hot turbo side, they were like a plasticy color and oil stained so i cleaned them and painted them black, still seems to smoke quite a bit, going to take it for a drive in a bit. Thanks

Did you change your spark plugs one at a time, or all at once? It's also possible that you switched the spark plug wires.
