Heater core bypass?
 

My heater core is leaking into my interior. Is there an easy way to temporarily bypass the core?

(1) run a bypass hose from the rear iron to the water pump outlet pipe.
(2) block both nipples for the above.

I would try to connect the input and output together. They both enter/exit the firewall right by each other.

Pulling the heater core means pulling the dash, which isn't as hard as one would think, but it's a good day of work.

For the time being I just cut up a piece of 16mm copper pipe off a junked heater core with a 90 degree bend.
