For guys who installed aftermarket FPR, does did u had idling issuse?

Hey I just upgrade my oem fpr to an paxton fpr same as sx anyway I crank up the car it start fine but when it comes to idling it hunst and then it shut off? I try to restart it and it backfire? Also I tap my rail I make sure everything tight and I don't smell any type of fuel. Also I want to add that I had my injectors send out to be cleaned and balance. MY fpr is hook like this, from secondary rail into the bottom of fpr and from the side out to the tank? Is that the way or I got hook up backward? shit that might be my problem? Anyone wants to chip some more info? thanks alot, khris

Most adjustable aftermarket FPRs have the "in" ports on the side and the return line coming out the bottom.

If you set the base pressure to something other than the stock ~37 psi, you will run richer than you did with the stock FPR since you can't adjust your ECU to compensate.

yeah, paxton and sx and aeromotive all use the side ports as "IN", and bottom for return as Max said.

Agree with Keith and Max.. You have the FPR hooked up wrong.
