When I purchased my FD it was completely stock and after looking around the only thing that I noticed that was done to it was two power wires ran from the engine bay into the back of the car.

The install looked very clean and seemed to have been done professionally. So, the other day I finally get around to removing my ecu. At first glance everything seems normal...

Than I took a closer look and discovered this... It was rubbing on the ecu case or more than likely the ecu case was rubbing on that wire laying right underneath it. :)

Glad I found this, as this could easily cause all sorts of strange issues and one would have a really hard time finding the root cause of problems.

Thought to bring this up for people that might be experiencing strange issues with their cars.

So what were the wires hooked up to in the trunk?

I wouldn't be worried about potential issues, it's the fiery blase that used to by my car that would have been worrying me .

Timely find there :icon_tup:.

i assume that was a fused connection and was no longer powered, or it owuld have charred the wire and/or started a fire.
