GT carbonfiber wing
Hello was looking into buying a GT carbonfiber wing and there are so many options don't really know. Was looking at APR Racing but also found a Megan Racing but don't know about the quality of Megan Racing since haven't dealt with them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

First, you should decide on size.
In my opinion, go big or go home, but if you don't have aero on the car to back it up, then maybe you need to go for something a little more subtle. A good choice for a subtle GT wing, that's also good quality, is the Mazdaspeed GTC wing. A good choice for a baller wing, if you are going big, is the RE-Amemiya GT2 wing. It is about 66" long, about 12"-13" wide, and depending on the stands you get, can sit anywhere from about 9" to 16" off of your hatch. If that's too large for your tastes, then maybe look at the RE-A GT3 wing, which is not as big, and has different style mounts. Unfortunately, those wings aren't cheap, and they aren't easy to find in the US. The wings APR makes are similar but not exactly the same. They are also expensive. There are other JDM wings you can consider, Volex, SARD, etc. Hope that helps some. |
oh, i wouldn't go with a cheap wing like megan or origin, etc. why put a cheap part on such a nice car?

Ok thanks I have the burnout front bumper from shine auto along with the sanai rear diffuser, and thanks and agree with the not buying the cheap wing. I do like the re one just have to wait to get more funds

Maybe when I do you'll still have yours and I'll get it

Origin Labs also makes a carbon wing for about $600, you can order them in multiple heights and widths depending on your desired effect.
|
that origin wing is really cheap.
if you do buy an origin wing, i suggest you drill holes in the sides and fill with expanding foam to strengthen it. |
you get what you pay for. ShineAutoProject makes great products for a good price i would check them out
