Group AST Update
 

Sorry for posting this in this forum, but the Group Buy forum is sort of hard to find.

Here is the update on my AST deal.

I have two orders, and I have decided to take one more unless I get substantial interest.

I quickly snagged one of the units from the welder for a progress photo. The unit is not complete, but should be by today or tomorrow. Unfortunately the filler necks have not arrived.
The photo shows the main body and one nipple attached.
There is still the bottom mounting plate, top plate, filler neck, and top mounting bracket to be welded.
I am calling today to figure out where they are at.

Well, I found out that my supplier for the filler necks sent them through the mail. I was a bit ticked to say the least, but the should be here tomorrow. I told them to drop ship them to me directly from the manufacture, but apparently they didn't know what drop ship means. So, I wait, as do the buyers. One of the buyers mentioned if I could paint his black. I replied that I could and that I was planning on painting mine black wrinkle. If you like the aluminum finish then have no fears about the dirty look that you see in the photo. I will be cleaning them up quite nicely before I ship.

As for the filler necks, these are the top of the line filler necks and they should be worth the wait.

If I don't sell any more by Friday, I will be taking the left overs to this Saturday's SoCal7 BBQ with the notion of selling them on the spot.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have ended any further group deal on this AST.

I have sold three and that is good enough for me.

Ugggggggh! I just posted a reply in the group buy section (not too hard to find... Vendors->Group Buy). I've been waiting on your e-mail address since last week I think it was. I've been trying to pay you by PayPal. I hope I can still get in, since you originall said you make 5. Please let me in :D!
