Greddy Type-R BOV spring

I have the Greddy Type-R BOV and currently the spring in it is just to stiff. I have even cut down coils as was suggested to me but to no avail, it is still not operating as it should. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could pick up a softer spring for the BOV?

Thanks

I believe the Type-R BOV is suppose to be used with high PSI applications (rated up to 60 PSI if I remember correctly).

You might be able to swap some parts from the Type-S BOV, but you are better off just getting the Type-S instead unless you are going to be running a large single turbo in the future.

BTW, I saw that you can get 2 different springs for that BOV. You might contact GReddy and see if you can get the softer spring.

60 psi... holy shit. :)

So I can get this from Greddy directly? or they will point me in the direction of an authorized dealer? Cause I am basically posting here in hopes of finding a dealer.

In responce to your mentioning running a single, I am infact running a gt35/40 single on my car. I got the Type-R because I want to run high boost when at the strip. But I also drive the car at 8lbs on the street.

Thanks

loosen the tension on the spring as well. There's a 12MM bolt that locks in an allen key screw. The screw should sit appx. 1/2 inch above the bolt.

Good luck trying to order it from GReddy directly. Please post your experience. I'm interested to hear what happens.
