Gotham oil pan brace: any leaks

I am considering purchasing one and would like to get an idea of how successful it is. For those who respond, how many miles have you driven with it on?

thanks in advance

mine is leaking a tiny bit now on the driver's side engine mount bolt. not all the bolts fit either, I had to buy some longer bolts but maybe they've corrected that problem now. Its still one hell of a product.

Thanks.

Did you have to buy longer motor mount bolts or pan bolts or both?

pan, the motor mount bolts they come with works pretty well.

How can it be one hell of a product if your leaking again?

because it was my fault for not putting silicone on the motor mount bolts, and even then the leak is very minimal. Its about a drop every few days or so.

The brace helps, but the cure to stop leaking is to install the oil pan properly using the correct sealant and procedure.

^i agree! you can stop any oil pan from leaking if it is done right. also i would recommend using studs coming down from the "block" insted of bolts. we have found them to work better with pan braces.
