Got myself an FD!! need help with a few rare parts

I want to buy my products new...not search ebay for months to save 35bucks but also not get ripped off. I was an FC owner so I like good deals! Anyways if you can direct me where to go.

- I am trying to find out where the best place is to find Gandor mirrors NON CF and new

- 99 spec front lamps and rear tails with the buldge. I have seen FD_Newbie's but are there better deals than that?

-CF Door handles for the outside

Thats about it.

Now I have to decide on Burnout kit or feed.....I dunno?!?!

there's little chance to get rare JDM parts in the US other than through fdnewbie.com

1) Ebay
2) Do you mean the rear tails with the circles? Dont know what "the buldge" is. If you want the circles there are people who do the conversion for like $50. For the 99spec front lights u need the bumper too. That means either a bodykit or the OEM 99 spec bumper. FDNewbie has the latter along with the light and all installation hardware.

3) Ebay for the "carbon look" or Evo-r.net for real carbon.

good luck with that...

I can't speak on the world of FC's but FD's: good deals are few and far in between. In the off chance that you actually find a good deal think it over 3x as it is probably too good to be true.

with those words of encouragement, welcome to the money pit. Where dropping $500 on your car doesn't do jack squat. :)

The factory 99spec tails have this bulge for the lights.

If you want quality good parts... your going to have to spend the money.

thats fine with me, I always do it right the first time. Saves headaches, time, and money.

The Evo-r handles are quite affordable so I am gonna go that route.

-I'm not an idiot, I know you require a 99 front or a aftermarket bumper to fit 99spec lights. Thats why I am going with a Feed or burnout front bumper.

So do you guys think its worth the 380 bucks to have the real rear lights or should I just do the circle mod? I am leaning towards the new rears...the plastic will be brandnew, I dont have to worry about moisture conditions from taking the lights apart etc etc. What do ya think?

Just convert your tail lights, thats what I did and cant tell the difference. Save yourself the 400 or however much it costs for the "real" 99 spec taillights. Its not like having the real thing will improve performance anways.
