got my injectors back from RC engineering
 

One primary was dripping, and the other was in fair condition. The secondaries were in good condition.
108k original engine.
One wierd thing was that they were return with a different type of o-rings. They're green and loose.
Not lose enough to come off but they're deffinitely not as big as the original. Just wondering if they'll be okay.

Also I know they'll clog up if you don't use them right away. But does anyone know how long I have?
Still got to pick up the new fuel lines.....

I had some injectors done by RC (they were RC injectors) awhile back that sat for several months. I didn't have any problems. I've had them do cleaning on Honda and Mitsubishi injectors (the Hondas are Keihins and I think the Mitsu ones are Denso) and in both cases, they didn't go in right away.

I did have a set of Honda injectors done by Cruzin Performance awhile back. The guy there (Rich) did a terrific job, but when I installed them and turned the key on (without starting the engine...I did it to make sure that I didn't have any leaks), I smelled gas. I pulled the rail out and one injector was dripping. I called him and asked him if that injector was bad and he said that it just needed to fire a few times. I threw it all together, started the car, and then checked again. No drip. :)

I think you're ok. Just keep them bagged/capped until you're ready to use them and get the OEM o-rings if you think these might leak.

It sounds like the same ratings mine got, what were your primary numbers?

what was the turn around like? 3 days?

Injector cleaning
 

I had some done when I built my car. After I got it all back together a secondary injector stuck for a second but then has worked perfectly for 20,000 miles. The car ran soooo much smoother with the injectors professionally cleaned and still does. My 2 cents.

Overnight it for 3pm. They called me at 4 the next day and said they're done! Got it back the day after. Pretty dam fast.
I guess I'm gona order some OEM o-rings. Don't really trust these buggers.

My primaries were like 518 / 530. We'll see if there is a difference in fuel consumption. But the car always ran like a champ.

if you dont plan on using the injectors for a "minute", you should soak them in some marvel mystery oil or something. keep them nice and wet so the lube that they use doesnt dry up. . . that could cause the seizing that everyone is experiencing.

Green rings aye? Green is usually refrigerant-grade.

Mine came back with two different colored rings on them too, but they both fit nicely. When I had mine cleaned, I asked them about not using them right away. The guy I talked to said that a month of them sitting around wouldn't hurt anything. He also said that the reason why they stick is because of the cleaning solvent that remains in the injector after they are finished can dry up.

I just got off the phone with RC. They charge 175.60 for cleaning and enlarging the 850s to 1300s each!
I also noticed you can buy Bosch 1600s, new for 124.50 each.(http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/fdfuel.html) what's up? its cheap! anyone?
I need to replace my 550s. Denso is pretty affordable, but I don't know the reliability. anyone has experience with denso injectors?

Bosch fuel injectors=(new secondary fuel rail + no ACV). Bored out 1300s are a drop-in replacement.
Denso is your only option without replacing fuel rails.

Mine came back from RC in 3 days. Only the small o-ring closest to the end of the injector were on them. When I called them they said the did not have the 2nd o-ring size. So I had to order them from Mazda. I figured I did not want to take the chance of having the wrong size and tear everything out again to get to the injectors after I installed them.
