Getting another FD!!!

I have found quite a deal on a 93 VR R1. It is completely stock with 60,000 miles on original engine. I can get it for only $8,000! Assuming the car is near the shape it is described to me as, I will be getting this one. I have an A/T 93 MB now and will likely be letting it go. I have done most of the reliability mods and a little bit more since I bought it 18 months ago. I am just ready for a manual and don't want to throw the money at a conversion since I have found this deal. I am going to check it out on Dec 1. I will post some pics of it after I try it out.

golferfreddie Nov 22, 2005 11:41 AM

Yeah rebuild might be numbers 4, 8, and 12!!!

golferfreddie Dec 3, 2005 02:31 PM

Well I test drove the car today in the rain. Totally stock and the interior is in pretty good shape. It will need to be painted, but other than that... I think I might take it! How much do you all think a new VR paint job will run me?

SiKoPaThX Dec 3, 2005 03:27 PM

Have you considered why it might be so cheap? Sure it's not a salvage?

Clean title, just needs new paint. It only has 49,000 miles too! I thought it was 60,000, but even better. The owner has had the car since 95.

SiKoPaThX Dec 3, 2005 11:37 PM

Wow man...this is the buy of a lifetime.

Herblenny Dec 4, 2005 07:08 AM

WOW! That is an awesome deal! When are you going to pick it up?

Yep! Its an addiction...
I'm acturally trying to sell my R1..

golferfreddie Dec 4, 2005 08:53 AM

I need to sell my other one first. I think I might be able to get it from him for closer to $7,000.
