Gauge cluster replacements

What brand makes an ENTIRE guage cluster replacement?
Seems I recall seeing a yellow single turbo in SCC or similar magazine that had RE Amemiya guages W/ nice brushed aluminum trim rings.
I'm replacing my dash I console with solid carbon fiber pieces (not stick-on carbon fiber overlay) and might as well do the guages "while I'm in there", especially seing as how several of the OEM guages tend to bite the dust w/ cracked printed circuits or are plain unreliable.

This really was kind of a fun project; not all that difficult... I still haven't implemented the autometer speedo yet, since the electric speedo is about $220. The hardest part was doing the wiring. Getting the electric fuel gauge to work takes some ingenuity; the water temp and oil pressure are mechanical; I have a boost and EGT in the center speaker pod, and I currently read speed off of the PFC until I get around to doing the full speedo.

That last one is; with the steering wheel removed. I'll try and get some better photos later.

I'm not familiar with the particular brand you're looking for, but if you browse some of the online sites, I'm sure something will turn up. However, if you're looking for some complete replacements (such as the ones mazdaspeed makes) then your looking at some high prices.

Of course as others above have shown you can go a custom route.

I myself went with some white faced overlays (fairly cheap). They don't look too ricey and I like them more then stock.

Hey your project is really motivating. Great job =)

You looking for a gauge cluster replacement that provides all the stock functions, or just those relevant to a full time track/race car? For the latter, there are Stack and SPA dash kits available from the usual race hardware suppliers.

Thanks a lot. If you want some implementation details, let me know. I don't quite have the time or skill (or money) for a nice fiberglassing job like gordon did, but the autometer sport-comp sure does blend in nicely with a black on black car.

Here is how I did Mine - I just replaced the fuel oil and water guages w/ AutoMeter Sport Comp units and kept the stock Tach and Speedo. The panel now has Water & Oil Temp above the Fuel guage and My Boost & Oil press guages are on the A-Pillar

I have mor info in this thread:

Stack gauge set. That's what I'm going to be using soon.
