Ganador knock-offs by nrg?

lookup this product code: NRG CARB-M300

Anyone a nrg dealer? this has piqued my interest since craftsquare mirrors cost 550+jdm shipping and have a 3-4 month wait.

ganador are electric motor, I had a set and sold them cause I didn't like how much they weighed. Wow ganadors have come down in price. Being these are hand adjusted will equal a good weight savings.

aicrotary2, where do those screws mount to? edit, scratch that they mount just like the ganadors, looked odd from your angle

Note that with the ganador mirros, they are designed for a RHD FD and thus renders the right side mirror completely useless as you can't see out of it.

The same with the Craft Square mirrors. When I got them, I was like "WTF" is this shit?

You piqued my interest as well. After looking around, it doesn't seem like they're worth the money, have horrible fitment, and symmetry issues.

Why would someone want to put T2 mirrors on their FD?

 me too, the odd thing is that I could see fine out of both of my Re-Amemiya mirrors.

Wait, wait, wait....you're telling me that if I purchase a set of Craft Squares, I'll not be able to properly utilize the passenger side mirror?

I'd think after adjusting it by hand to meet your requirements, it would be good to go.

I totally want a set of those....:(

I had the LED Ganador mirrors for a moment and they were horrible. The fit was pathetic, the LEDs were not fitted straight and the motors were wired poorly.

Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about. My passenger side mirror sits too far forward and I cannot see it. My driver's side mirror is too far back. In short, like what was previously stated, mirrors purchased from Japan are made for RHD vehicles, not LHD ones.

In this picture, if you look at the weave, it frayed apart during the vacuuming process and it is obvious they did not properly degas the resin before they infused the part, leading to cavitation.

Gotcha, buy them and let us know!

Driftfc3s 01-18-14 05:53 PM

I've had the ganadors on my old S14, and could see out of them perfectly like OEM. I can't say that the FD ones are the same.

mrhetrick 01-18-14 07:12 PM

Okay, so now I am thoroughly confused.

In regards to the Craft Squares, is it the OEM mount ones that don't fit, or the door mount one?

I thank you for posting the pictures Davin, but I guess I just can't tell. Almost like I need to see them on the car to get the proper idea. I've seen pictures with cars that have Craft Squares (LHD cars) and they appear to be fine.

Then again, it could be something that the owner just dealt with, given the amount of money already spent.

This kinda bursts my bubble...:(

So looking at this old for sale thread, and given that these are the door mount version, it appears from the pictures that they would work "well".

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...rrors-1020493/

I'm no expert, and certainly value the knowledge of the others in this thread, but I want a set of these so bad, and can't just give up. :fingersx:
