G-Force

Anyone have any info on the G-Force ecu? My current mods are DP, MP, CB and Intake.
In your opinion, G-Force or Pettit Unlimited?

RxSeven1 03-28-04 03:11 PM

i believe g-force is out of business.
pettit will be the most agressive and you sill run rich.

I have a G-Force unlimited and other than running pretty rich, I have no complaints.

Go with pettit or m2. Why dont you go with a standalone?

m2 won't run with a mp

I don't see why the M2 wouldn't run with a midpipe as long as you have a handle on your boost. If the midpipe gives you boost creep then no ECU by itself will solve that one.

i was actually going to to go with a remapped chip, i decided to spring the extra 200 and get a used pfc. think about it.

M2 is out of business, go with the Pettit ECU. That is what I am running with a DP,MP,CB and it is great.

That is not true. As long as you can keep the boost under control, m2 can handle the boost up to 14.7psi where the injectors duty cycle is maxed out.
I have m2 ECU and run straight through exhaust. I just use restrictor plate to insure no boost creep.

from those 2 choices i would say pettit. though i recommend going the distance and getting a Power FC.

whatever you get, get it soon because your mod list suggests lean conditions on your motor.

Power FC would be great but from my understanding, the Pettit ECU would be fine for my setup. I plan on getting the Power FC when I go single turbo setup in the future.

Well why spend the 600 now, and then the 1200 for the pfc later? In the long run you will be spending more money. IMO its a waste. Sure thats good for your set up but you will make more power if its tuned well.

I don't know when I'll be upgrading to single turbo, but I do know it won't be anytime soon. $600 is a lot of money, especially when I'm saving for a wedding, forget about an extra $600 on top of that for the PFC.. Not to mention I do not and will not have the time to sit and learn how to use the PFC until after the wedding.

I understand that the PFC is a better option, but it's not a realistic one for my situation. I want to be able to drive and enjoy my car this summer, since I just picked it up a little over a month ago.
