It's nice to see that you went the extra mile to have your engine bay match the car. Nice job.

Mytelex22 03-02-07 09:28 PM

+1 for busting your ass and taking care of the tedious work! Sanding is a bitch!!!

Yeah, no kidding... and yes Jonathan helped too, though his ass won't sand if his life depended on it... However he has done some kick ass engine work and porting for me.... I love you man. :ky:

oo7arkman 03-02-07 10:08 PM

Now THAT is the way that should be done... Looks great. :bigthumb:

Gorilla RE 03-02-07 10:13 PM

wow wow there buddy......with teh gheyness....

zonblitz 03-02-07 10:20 PM

sorry bro, I think I'm still high on paint fumes...

Guys I'll post more pics later, but you guys should see the porting jobs Jonathan has been doing on my motor (manifolds)... Just awesome... Not to mention he puts up with my never-ending stupid questions... oh yeah and he lets me borrow his Matco tools!

P.S. and I promise when we're done with my car I'll finish the website!

To all of you with the kind words, Thank you! It's rewarding to have work appreciated by your peers. :)

Gorilla RE 03-02-07 10:28 PM

zonblitz 03-03-07 10:27 AM

Thanks guys! It's titaniumesque... lol

It started off Porsche Seal Grey Metallic, then we added a tad more flake and a little black...

speedjunkie 03-03-07 03:05 PM

Yeah that color is nice.

Sgtblue 03-04-07 07:06 AM

:icon_tup: Looks outstanding.
And +1 on the dedication. Most people don't appreciate how much surface area there is under the hood....until they do a project like that. Definitely tedious work.
