full non-seq questions

I have heard that you can do a real nice non-seq by removing the doors.. anyone have a write up on doing it this way?

Matt,

I have the full non-seq kit.. i guess you could call it a kit.. Buddy of mine went back to stock and he used to have BNR stage 3.

Doors taken off of exhaust manifold, actuators taken out of the secondary turbo to ypipe.. let me know if you are interested..

Removing the turbo contol gate in the exhaust manifold,
and the charge control gate in the back half of the "Y" pipe is part of doing a full non-seq. Otherwise you are doing the poor man's conversion which is only good for testing.

Along with removing the TCG from the EM, port match #2 ports between the EM and turbo housing as much as possible to reduce bad exhaust turbulence.

What is it good for testing? to see if one of your turbo's is out? to see if you have problems with the soleniods?

Yes. Allows you to get full boost above 4500rpms by eliminating the "culprits" and determine what is wrong.

I looked high and low for a decent write up about that. Not real sure if one w/picutures and detailed instructions exists.

Really to see if you like it. I did the Poor mans conversion first to see how driveable the car was. I thought it was good, so I did the full conversion. But I had it easy, I bought turbos already modified. But now they have blown, and I am going single. So if anyone is interested in the full-nonsequential turbo set w/blown turbo's. PM me.
