Full exhaust on pettit ecu?

Safe to run a whole DP MP and hks titanium exhaust on pettit ecu?

hen you upgrade to a full exhaust what is happening to the system with the change? What is your ECU upgrade doing? What should you be careful of?

Take minute and truly ponder those questions and you will have your answer. My reasoning behind me asking you to ponder is that many people just add mods based on what the 'forum' says without truly understanding the ramifications of mods. But if you understand what is going on, you can build upon with the forum's input and choose your mods with confidence.

Theres a good change you will creep boost in cooler weather unless you port the wastegate or add an exhaust restrictor. Personally I'm not a fan of any chipped ecu. It is far safer to run something like a Power FC or Adaptronic where you can tune it to the actual car.

Thanks for the input, i just got a pettit for a really good price and will be going for an adaptronic within the next months

we used to refer to the midpipe as the apex seal removal tool. i wouldn't run one on that ECU

Awesome analogy. I think a midpipe really is the kiss of death due to overboost situations it causes

Meh I guess you prefer to be spoon fed rather than thinking about what the mods are actually doing... Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

BTW it is insane to run a pettit on a full exhaust! I wouldn't do it... That or I'm I just yanking your chain ;) lol

Edit- I'm just fucking with you. You'll be fine just don't over boost. But honestly you should really stop and ponder what the mods are really doing so you can make informed decisions rather than relying on people that you don't know. Just a thought.
