fueling problems with 1200cc inj

Me again, ive just fitted 1200cc secondary inj and i put in suganumas fuel map as i have the same mods as him on pfc but when the secondary turbo comes on line the car feels like it is choking up with fuel. All the settings are correct for the new 1200cc inj but it doesnt wantto rev past 5000 and just splutters and holds back, the only other ting i changed was the fuel pressure from astandard 47 ish psi under 10 psi boost to around 59 psi at 10 psi boost. What could be causing this,Thanks in advance for any help. woah, why did you jack up your fuel pressure so high? What fuel pump are you using? Your fuel pump may not be delivering at that pressure. What are your mods, not everybody knows what Suganuma is running.....:)

Increasing the fuel pressure will pump more fuel into the mix, so if Suganuma is running stock fuel pressure, you will be running MUCH richer than he is.

I agree with rynberg... why did you jack up your fuel pressure? Is that what suganuma runs?

Also, it's not just as easy as loading up someone else's map and expecting it to run well. To really get it running right requires hours of wideband tuning.

Sounds to me like you have too much fuel when the secondaries come online so you need to figure out why and fix it.

Brian

just catching up on a few threads as it appears that some people are using a PFC map i used to run and posted a few years ago. this map was pre-programmed by SR motorsports. I don't run that map or EMS anymore. I was running stock injectors and stock base fuel pressure (38-40psi) at that time so that would explain why it is bogging so much.
