Fuel system recommendations?
 

Okay, so I am working my way down jimlab’s reliability list (https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-gen-archives-73/need-questions-answered-experienced-3rd-gen-owners-27053/), with the following items awaiting my return for installation: ASP Medium SMIC, Fluidyne radiator, Power FC, RX7store high flow cat, Greddy elbow (with flange), and Greddy Type S BOV (yeah I know).

Now I already have the RB dual-tip exhaust, HKS down pipe, and Pettit Aluminum AST installed, but when the above items go into the car, would that be the right time to upgrade the fuel system, or should I be looking to do other things first? When I do upgrade the fuel system, would you guys recommend going with a complete system offered by RX7store/RE/Gotham, or should I try and pick out separate parts on my own?

In any case, thank you for taking the time to read/respond to this post, and I apologize if any of this comes off as noobish. I’ve only had her since February. J

looking at your current mods, I would keep the stock fuel system in place as long as its working properly. upgrade the fuel system when you go to bigger injectors. the stock fuel system and ignition should be ok up to 350-400 HP. then go with a complete system.

Mike, you should be good w/ the stock fuel system w/ those mods. If you plan on upping the boost, however (which you better tune for ;)) you may need to upgrade at least your fuel pump.

Thanks for the pointers guys! Maybe now I'll move on to the Viton Hose replacement, or the HKS Twin power, or an ACT Clutch, or a Jacobs Knock Sensor, or Defi Gauges, or God do I need to win the lottery!

Defi D gauges for me. Just have to do other things before I purchase those.

I am currently running around 330 rwhp w/ stock fuel system, however, my injectors duty cyl is maxed out to 100% according to the PFC, and I know for a fact that running over even 80% is not good at all. When you mentioned stock fuel is good for 350-400 hp is that correct? I am wondering if I can control boost w/ the PFC to lower the injectors duty cycle by lowering the boost. I am currently running around .96 bar ~ 14 psi. any recommendation, I am looking for a fuel system upgrade now, but need to save money first.
