Fuel rails
Hi guys, I'm probably going to go Bosch ev14 2200s for my secondaries and I'm trying to decide which fuel rail to get.
There are quite a few to choose from and I'm trying to find out which ones are better than others and why and which are the best bang for buck. So would love to hear any feedback on which way to go! Thanks guys, Mikey |
FFE makes high-quality rails for the FD and they're always helpful with any questions you may have, I own several of their products I have always been very happy with the quality and support
Yeah a lot of people seem to use FFE. Being in Australia they end up costing about twice as much as other brands such as Proflow and Aeroflow for example, so wondering if they are that much better
I cannot compare them because I'm not familiar with those companies, but the quality and craftsmanship of FFE parts is always top notch, maybe shoot them an email to doublecheck there's not a vendor closer to you?
i know kg are shit.. currently using FFE
I would go with FFE or CJM, both are quality product.
Full Function Engineering is all I sell and use. I build all my fuel systems around their rails.
I have used both kgparts and ffe and on my fd. The ffe is definitely of nicer quality but I have had zero issues with the kg rail.
I sell a lot of the FFE and KGparts rails. Both do the job. It also depends on the injector length you are using. The KG rails only take a 60mm length injector.
Is there any benefit of taller injectors over shorter? Ive gotten rid of the acv already.
Absolutely no benefit. It is only done for clearance reasons.
Thanks for the advice everyone I appreciate it. Im going to go with an FFE secondary rail i think.
Also I want to mount a Turbosmart FPR2000 directly to the rail, I have deleted the ACV but still have the air pipe going from the lim to the cat, so to physically allow the FPR to fit do you think 48mm rail spacers will give adequate height? |
