fuel rail AN adapter

I am going to run SS and AN lines and I need to know where to get an adapter for the fuel rails. I know the banjo bolt is just a 12mm x1.25 but Can I get adapter for the others, like where the fpd goes and such. I don't want to have to tap 3 sides on the fuel rails. If tapping is the only answer what size do i use 3/8? or 1/4? I am also going to be a running a parrallel system, and need to know if I can run the fuel Feed lines to the front of the rails and the return out the back? or do I have to follow the stock flow pattern?

Call Chuck at Rotary Extreme.

Yea Chuck has something that will work....although last time I checked they were back ordered.....they are under the fuel section.

Tapping primary rail

Ok, I ordered the adapter for the secondary, but I need to know what size to tap the primary rail. Do I have to use a 1/4" or can I use a 3/8" or some other kind of thread?

I just tapped my primary rail this weekend. I used a 3/8" npt tap. It worked fine, although I couldn't tap it deep enough for the npt fitting to screw all the way in. There is about a 1/4" gap. Even with the gap it shouldn't leak, it's just an annoying cosmetic thing. Did you get the secondary rail adapter from rotary extreme?

So, a 3/8 npt is kinda iffy? I'll probably still use a 3/8 but would you say 1/4 would be better?

Will Sard adapter for the secondary fuel fit on both sides of the primary?

On the primary rails, the fuel entrance and exit holes are 12mm and are are too big for tapping 1/4" NPT. You can tap the entrance side 3/8" but the exit side of the primary rail does not have enough material to for 3/8", looks like the tap could break thru. Even if you could tap both sides 3/8 it's tough to find a fitting that will not hit the OMP inlets for the housings when you try to install it. I suggest tapping both sides of the primary 9/16-24 and using a banjo bolt -6 AN hose ends (http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku)
or tapping both sides 14mm X 1.25mm and use a metric banjo to -6AN male adapter.
(http://64.202.180.37/files/metric.pdf bottom of page 3).

The FPR end of the secondary rail can be easily tapped 1/4" NPT.
