Fuel questions !

Sup everybody, Im new to the forum so i have a few questions about my car. Just bought it last week so learning as i drive it and work on it. I put about 85 bucks in 91 oc. and got about 60 litres so almost full fuel tank. I literally have 200 kms that i drove and its already down to a quater. Is this how bad they are on gas? or do i got a fuel leak somewhere. i dont see any other fluids under my hood other than a minor turbo seal leak. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks !

if its been modifiyed it could be running rich, but like cptpain said, stay out of boost , when gas was cheaper and i could easily afford it i was in boost much more than needed, but since gas has gone up and money has been an issue iv been driving like a granny and it does save gas.

The first time I ever filled one up I had the same thought, where the hel_ is the gas going so fast:scratch:. I love when people at the gas pumps get behind me thinking, "Oh he will be quick in that little car". They just don't realize how big the fuel tank is on it.

My suggestion is to stay out of boost downshift when you need to pass so it doesn't boost as much.

be sure to read the FAQ thread stickied in this forum so you can learn about the car.

also read the RULES threads stickied in the newbie forums. We do expect you to follow the rules.

By the way, there's no wiggle room for fuel once the low fuel light comes on.

Put a toolbox, a gallon of coolant, a couple quarts of oil, a 5 gal gas can and a fire extinguisher in your trunk .... at some point you will need all of them lol

What kind of mods do you have? If you have a power fc tuning the cruising area of the map can help with mileage.

this seems worse than usual, he's getting less than 8 mpg, I can see that with LOTS of boost, but c'mon, 8? I romp on her a lot and still manage 13ish, C-FD that's about 5.5 km/L. What are your mods? Yes they all run rich.

It's running at 10 psi and I think i got an intake leak. Thats why I think.
