fuel pump at stratup
does the fuel pump should run when you put the key to the ON position?
i thought it wasn't doing this before but since i did some work on the car, the fuel pump starts as sonn as i put the car at ON. Is it normal? I just put back the fuel pressure regulator solenoid, changed the FPR and the PD. thanks a lot puma |
With a stock ECU, the FP will not come on until the engine is switch to start and it starts. This is easily verified with a FP gauge.
With the PFC, it turns the FP on as soon as the ignition is turned on. |
hmm well i have a stock ecu and the fuel pump strat even before i start the car, i have a FP guage and the pressure is rising before i start it.
I suppose it is a good trouble than, isn't it? puma |
