Which Fuel Pump?

Running out of fuel with my current mods and tune. Looking to upgrade the fuel pump. Can I go wrong with either one of these?

Probably done modding the car for now, but maybe later will be new injectors and a Water/Meth inj setup. But for now, the performance mods are done for a little while.

What do you guys think?

I'm using the Nippondenso. I'd get that because it's direct install. I'm putting down around 420 right now, and it still seems there's a lot more room for more power.

My vote goes to the 2nd one.

Both of the mentioned pumps are direct bolt ins.

Why? I am not saying your opinion is wrong, but what is the point if you don't share why you think one is better.

From my understanding, the rx7.com is a modified Supra TT pump, so it should be better than just the regular Supra tt pump (nippondenso)

I may be wrong, so please no one attack me. I even recently posted a thread asking exactly what the difference was with the two pumps mentioned by the OP. It never got a single reply.

I would go with the second just because it says what it really is, the supra tt pump. If the first one would have mentioned what they changed, or what they did to make it flow better then I would consider it, but lack of information, part numbers and specs is a big turn off for me. Reminds me of certain turbo kits with "secret" specs, i think its bad marketing to not be clear what exactly you are selling.

Well since this thread got reserected i might as well ask a question.

I am running a pettit ecu trait pipe exhaust, ported wast gate, v mount, and will probly run 12 psi. Will my stock fuel pump keep up with my mods? Do i need to upgrade

Thats why I bumped it, cause if I asked a question someone was going to say search. I just wanted to hear some more opinions on the subject matter so I bumped it. It seems someone else was interested too.

It seems like eveytime someone ask a quick question you guys want people to search 4 and 5 year old threads to find the answer. The point of forums are to share current info, its not a search engine.

I would say 75% of the members here are dicks. When I purchased my 3rd gen I thought the owners would be a more tight net community but I guess I was wrong.

This car is over 15 years old, so these questions have already been asked. The supra pumps from " 4 and 5" years ago are still the same ones today. People get sick of seeing the same questions resurface once every couple months, because members are too lazy to search.

All Im saying is the forum is not a search engine. A lot of times the questions are asked a lil differently. Have you noticed that a lot of threads are started with "I searched but couldnt find" just so people dont jump down their throats about searching. I just think some of the people on this board could be a lil more helpfull and lil less of a jerk. Especially when dealing with new members to the rotary community.

That is why we have the FAQ thread that a lot of people created links directly to important threads. I don't understand why t f the newbies don't read them.

There is also the Archives sub forum in here where there are various threads on the topic.

The forum has search capability. Don't be lazy. Use it. Anyone that actually knows anything gets sick of retyping the same damn information every week so resurrecting a crappy thread with minimal information only hurts you since the information could be wrong. All you need to do is search and actually READ the results.

Heck, there is even a thread entitled "How to Use the Forum: A Tutorial Series" for those that couldn't figure that simple stuff out for themselves.
