fuel in a oil pressure gauge

Hi guys,

I have two gauges in my car and need to add a fuel pressure gauge with a new fuel system, but the makers of the gauges I already have dont make a fuel pressure gauge.

Theres not other gauges that look similar and I'd like to keep them all the same.....so

I was wondering if you can use a 100psi oil pressure gauge (mechanical) as a fuel pressure gauge...or will the fuel -a. destroy the gauge or -b. not work correctly due to the thickness of the fuel compaired to oil?

Or should I just replace all my gauges to a brand that does a fuel gauge?

Yes, it will work fine but you'll need to use a "fuel pressure gauge isolator". You don't want a pressurized fuel line in the cab of the car.

Any auto parts retailer should be able to locate one for you. Or try Summitracing.com
