fuel cutoff sensor?
is it true there is a sensor that cuts off fuel to the second rotor if the car boosts over 12 lbs?....and wouldnt that mess up the rotor?

wow..very interesting indeed. i have been looking on many sites and threads for answers on the cut off and that site says what most of them have been saying but without sea level notes. so by getting the ...i forget what its called..module that eliminates this...will i cause any damage to my motor at high rpms?

Not really. Basically it cuts the fuel so there isn't enough fuel to combust (which is why it doesn't cause a lean condition which could cause detonation). |

Important advice: don't install a fuel cut defenser (FCD). It just lies to the ECU by telling it you are running less boost than you really are. That doesn't work very well, since it will lean out the mixture as the boost increases.
Upgrade the ECU (chip, replace with PowerFC, etc.) to eliminate the fuel cut in a safer manner. -Max |
rynberg posted an answer without telling someone to do a search??? dood, you're slippin' |
