Uh..............yeah.

As Zoolander says, "IT'S IN THE COMPUTER!"

The MAP sensor tells the engine how much boost you're running. The ECU looks at the boost and the RPM, if it's above a certain level, you get fuel cut.

If you cut the wire to the MAP sensor the car will run crappy if at all. That is THE primary input to the ECU.

If you're hitting fuel cut on a stock ECU, it's time to STOP what you're doing. That means you're a hair's breadth from blowing your motor up. Time to dial back the boost and save for a PowerFC. If you have mods on a car with a stock ECU, you need to stick to 10psi - more than that and you're asking for big trouble.

Fuel Cut

I guess i didnt explain myself as well as i should have. I am trying to get rid of the fuel cut or "governor" when my car hits approx 180 km/h. I was told you can do this by "cutting" the fuel cut wire.
