Front sway bar links install?
FSM says to just remove the wheels and remove the stabalizer links.
I thought I had read that the wheel needed to be under load to make the end links easier to remove. Maybe I dreamed it. So, what is the best way to change out the front sway bar end links? Thanks for any experiences. |
Jack up front of car and remove:
wheels, undertray, sway bar bushing so bar hangs loose- this removes any sway bar preload, end link attaching bolts. |
So the bar has to have NO load on it when doing any removal or installation of the bushings and/or links?

If both wheels are off the ground at the same time, yes. However if you only jack up one side, there will be load.
Now i know now to jack up the entire front and do it. Thanks |
