front mount and hard oil lines
 

I am in the process of doing a custom single turbo and am using the apexi gt front mount. I have the knightsport 4 fog front bumber. The way its looking now is that the oil lines are sitting directly where the ic needs to sit. Forget about the ac lines...they were really in the way. i hope to reroute them but really don't want to reroute the hard oil lines. Anybody know anything about this. I am most likely going to have to hack a good amount of my bumber backing off and wedge the ic just in front of the oil lines. Any help is appreciated.

You have the R1 with dual oil coolers right? Either way, when I had the dual oil coolers, the radiator fans hit the metal lines. What I did was bend them slightly away from the oil coolers(towards the engine). Just don't bend them hard enough to break.

I actually have a touring but they are right smack in the way. I was a bit skeptical about bending them but I guess if you did it without a problem, hopefully I can too. Maybe I'll put a torch on them for a few seconds to make the metal agree with with my bends a little better.

Or you can replace the hard lines with steel braided lines and route them however you like :-)

If you know anyone who works at a machine shop or race shop, hard lines aren't very hard to fabricate.
