Freeze 12 worth it?

Need to refill my AC and Im thinking about using Freeze-12 and wondering if its worth it. If you havent used it before please dont post your comments. Im looking for those who have actually used it. Also, do those leak stop additives actually work. How hard is it to actually replace the o-rings in the system.

Replacing the o-rings is cake and ice cream...I wouldnt even try any leak stop additives...As far as the Freeze-12 goes, I have heard of alot of people using it...And I am willing to give it a try...But I have not actually ever used it myself...

Thanks,
Shawn

The only reason im thinking about Freeze-12 is because I can buy it online with a leak additive. A recharge in my system is about $40, but with the leak it only lasts about 1-2months.

I've purchased freeze12 at ebay, and it works great. The problem I had was that I never fixed the leak so I only had cold air for one day....

my biggest problem is trying to find someone in Juarez, MX. that has the leak detection dye. Everyone seems to have tons of freon but no dye. Its amazing how many people are putting Freon across the border and how cheap they charge. Its pretty funny since they're doing it right across the bridge (ie. no shop).

you must be in El Paso eh? My brother is down there with a black FD... I was raised there until I was 15.

Dont you need a special tool to inject the dye. Otherwise the only way I've seen is to get the R-12 with the dye incoporated in the can.

Oh and I am in El Paso, the only Black Rx7 I've seen is at Dell Motorsports. I think thats the name of the shop.
