FPR: AEM - vs - Aeromotive (those with experience with either)
I sold the Race Sard fuel pressure regulator. For some reason if it doesn't say Automotive on it then it's too foreign for some mechanics even though Mazda is not A US muscle car. I don't want the 1000 just because A mechanic has seen it before. I don't want colors in my engine bay. It will be black and silver only. I'm comparing the Aeromotive that's motor suited for Japanese cars but it looks like the AEM is a better choice as the discharge port size can be changed.
If you have experience with either one, please post. Please don't post based on looks, name brand, dual single turbo vs one turbo, your girl friends hair color, adding to your troll post count. Universal Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Aeromotive | 13129 - EFI Bypass Regulator |
Just the aeromotive, I have never had an issue with them. I have only used the Aem regulator once and had fuel pressure spikes with it when backing off even with the largest orriface.

Check out the Weldon Fuel Pressure Regualtors...
We use them on our Daytona Prototype. AWESOME product, great price. |
i have both. AEM on my miata and aeromotive on my FD. I dont have an issue with either one. Both seem very reliable, but only thing is miata is only making 250whp running at about 45 psi.

Looks like I may have to go with Aeromotive for high HP. I can't justify 2 & 3x $ for the Weldon.
thanks for the replys |
