FPD delete tap size

Hi,

I've been following the banzai racing FPD delete guide, and it specifies a 1/4-18 tap for the fuel rail, but the ID of my fuel rail inlet is 0.471 inches... Anybody else have this issue? 94 JDM FD.https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...4f70225aad.jpg

There is no issue. Just follow the instructions

Am I missing something? 0.25 inch tap is loose in 0.47 inch hole.

Just follow the instructions and report back when you're done

Found out the 1/4 inch tap I had just wasn't NPT.

Why are you deleting the fpd? It serves a purpose.

He could always run an aftermarket Radium one.

a 1/4 npt tap isn't 1/4" in diameter. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine.

1/4"-18 NPT tap drill diameter is 7/16

Pipe sizes are oddly named... on larger pipe sizes the nominal size (like 1 1/2" pipe size) is very close to the ID of the pipe.
